Cabe Lindsay

Cabe Lindsay is a world traveler currently stationed in Dallas, Texas. His painting style is generally described as abstract representational with stylized notes. The 'stylized' quality referred to here is the brush effect that draws attention to the human quality of a piece of artwork: visible strokes, stray lines, splashes of color, brushed text and symbols, etc.

Below is a selection of his original paintings, all of which are available for sale. Inquire via email.

Paris LoversParis Lovers: Each watercolor painting in the Paris Lovers series is 24" x 30", stylized with paint splashes and other strokes of character. The first, Street Bench Serenade, reveals Lindsay's admiration for street musicians who perform freely, openly, casually, and lovely. The second, Kissers in the City of Love, patterns the same tone while this time placing the kiss at the forefront as the dominant focal point.

Tricycle RiderTricycle Rider: With his painting, Tricycle Rider, Cabe Lindsay presents a light-hearted expression of emotion with bright, bold colors and a curious subject matter that is simple enough to read, though its interpretation is not easily agreed upon. This sizeable painting measures 4' x 5', large enough to liven up an entire room with a dramatic splash of color.

Snow Geese MigrationSnow Geese Migration: Cabe Lindsay's Snow Geese series is a collection of five similarly-structured oil paintings designed to enliven a space with color and movement. The migration of the snow goose is presented from an aerial viewpoint that could only be witnessed by a member of the skein. Rivers, trees, and mountains can be seen abstractly in the distance, contrasting the white, thickly-textured geese. Each 14" x 18" painting is professionally framed.
