In the Optimistic Realism photograph exhibits, images are organized by theme. These pictures are mainly candid, and highly artistic, as you will see, and they are available to peruse and download. Select from the following image groups and scroll through the slideshow presentations.
Summer Funshine: wind-blown bubbles throwing flowing rainbows of Radio Flyers, oranges, bonfires, green leaves, blue skies, and purple dresses, messes of popsicles, knee tickles, tricycles, headfirst glides down playground slides, grooms and brides smiling wildly, romance nightly, daily, afternoonly, and exploratory dancing to outdoor music, smiles galore, laughter more enormous than the thunderous, most funderous, sun.
Happy People: "Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared," says the Buddha.
Musical Movement: maraca-shakers, tango dancers, belly-jigglers experience music as spectators and performers,
strum, drum, and dance with hands airborne, knock on heaven’s and hell’s doors and moreover pass through those thresholds, kick open those closed doors, waltz out of those closets, jump out in the open, and boogie, gracefully flow like long hair defying gravity.
Avant-Garde: This exhibit typifies the experimentation and boundary pushing that defines the avant-garde form. The photographer’s intention is to innovate, and often the artist fails to capture the intended images, but never fails to try. Here, you will see extreme asymmetry, analysis of shadow and reflection, aerial perspectives, worm’s eye views, studies in focal points, motion blurs, and more.
Kudos to Kiddos: before we can pee outside of our pants we can think outside of the box, we unknowingly demonstrate that curiosity creates discovery, misbehavior makes life lessons possible, pain leads to understanding, so we, inappropriately, run in public places, swim in overflowing bubble baths, speak with our mouths full of cake, wear animal costumes and marker mustaches, we are the professional testers of limits, it is our job to stick juniper berries up our noses.
