Painting

Optimistic Realism features artists with tremendous natural ability and a true passion for their craft. The distinctive voice that accompanies each painter’s brushstroke is evident in his or her respective artwork, as you can see. O.R. painters are available for anything from temporary wall art for the kids’ room to a lasting oil painting. Painting services include: mural painting, watercolors, oils, acrylics, interior room art, abstract, representational, surreal, and hand-painted interior design.

01 Mural Painting: MoveStudio is a yoga, dance, and fitness studio. This lotus and lily pad landscape is painted on a wall 10' x 60'. The mural reiterates the studio's idea of using movement as the catalyst for positive change, delighting in the reality that beautiful lotus blossoms originate from the mud. View the mural.

02 Oil Painting: Cabe Lindsay's Snow Geese Migration series is a collection of five similarly-structured oil paintings, each 14" x 18", designed to enliven a space with color and motion. These heavily textured oil paintings cast the audience airborne as if flying alongside the birds in their migration. View the paintings.

03 Acrylic Painting: With this abstract painting, O.R. artist, Cabe Lindsay, leaves the message ambiguous to be subject to multiple interpretations. Beyond the open-ended subject matter, the color scheme also conjures mixed emotions with its sharply contrasting warm and cool hues. This painting is large, at 4' x 5'. View the painting.

04 Watercolor Painting: The 4-piece Paris Lovers series, by Cabe Lindsay, draws on to the passion exhibited outwardly in the City of Love. Each painting is 24" x 30" with visible brushstrokes, drips, and artistic expression at play. View the paintings.

05 Decorative Painting: Non-objective art, made famous by Jackson Pollock, is often created with drips and splashes of color. It is spontaneous in nature, giving it a raw quality that uniquely conveys the expressions of the subconscious. Cabe Lindsay's 24" x 30" non-objective painting, titled Splashkabeezie, exemplifies this decorative style of painting. View the painting.
