Painting

Optimistic Realism features artists with tremendous natural ability and a true passion for their craft. The distinctive voice that accompanies each painter’s brushstroke is evident in his or her respective artwork, as you can see. O.R. painters are available for anything from temporary wall art for the kids’ room to a lasting oil painting. Painting services include: mural painting, watercolors, oils, acrylics, interior room art, abstract, representational, surreal, and hand-painted interior design.

MoveStudio: Mural painting on a wall 10' x 60' at a fitness studio, where movement is a catalyst for positive change. This lotus and lily pad landscape represents the expression: "From the mud the lotus blooms." View the mural.

University of Montana: Abstract acrylic painting, large-scale at 4' x 5'. Beyond the open-ended subject matter, the color scheme conjures mixed emotions with its sharply contrasting warm and cool hues. This painting is large, at 4' x 5'. View the painting.

Wyoming Ambassadors of Music: Four-piece watercolor series, called Paris Lovers, draws on to the passion exhibited outwardly in the City of Love during a W.A.M. European tour in 2005. Each painting is 24" x 30" with visible brushstrokes, drips, and artistic expression at play. View the paintings.

Missoula Art Museum: The Snow Geese Migration series is a collection of five similarly-structured oil paintings, each 14" x 18", designed to enliven a space with color and motion. These heavily textured oil paintings cast the audience airborne as if flying alongside the birds in their migration. View the paintings.

Individual Commission: Two-piece Splash watercolor series commissioned by art afficionado. View the paintings.

Ashleigh Ann Barrett: Unique, decorative nonobjective art for interior design. This art form, made famous by Jackson Pollock, is often created with drips and splashes of color. It is spontaneous in nature, giving it a raw quality that uniquely conveys the expressions of the subconscious. View the painting.

Take a Deeep Breath: Watercolor series of 13 paintings - one for each track on the album.

First Nations: Watercolor art for marketing campaign to preserve the heritage and values shared by Native Americans. View the painting.
